Pediatrics is to treat the general diseases of patients aged 18 or younger. In particular, our hospital is the only hospital that can deal with immunodeficiency diseases and rheumatic diseases, outside ones in Seoul. In addition, it is acknowledged that our hospital set up new guidelines on Kawasaki disease. Moreover, in Korea our hospital plays a leading role in researching and treating mycoplasma infection that may cause severe pneumonia.
