Infectious diseases are caused by bacteria, viruses, mold, parasites, etc. The medical staff in this division, studying infectious diseases always, makes a specialty of preventing and treating them. In addition to extensive prevention and treatment, they give vaccinations to adults and counsel on it. Infectious diseases are divided according to infection site and pathogen. As for infection sites, there are pneumonia, urinary tract infection, osteoarticular infection, soft tissue infection, endocarditis and encephalomeningitis. In infection by specific pathogens, there are extrapulmonary tuberculosis (TB), tsutsugamushi disease, leptospirosis, typhoid fever, malaria, influenza and other legal infectious diseases. In addition to them, the medical staff deals with septicemia, fever of unknown origin (FUO), lymphadenopathy and a rash with fever.
